Live Illustration at Shilstone House Devon

I recently had the pleasure of live illustrating at Shilstone House, Devon, for an absolutely beautiful couple.

Firstly, I was set up just by the ceremony barn. This spot was sheltered from the wind and rain, but also a beautiful place for guests to sit and enjoy watching some live drawing.

Next, the fabulous team at Shilstone helped me move into the main house. I set up in a cosy corner with natural light and connection to power - always grateful to those that make sure I have power!

Lastly, we moved into the marquee. This is where I did the main bulk of drawing. I love being set up in the same room as speeches and dinner, because I get to know the couples even more by being a quiet bystander. Plus, it means that when guests get up for a drink, they wander over to see more of the live drawing unfolding!
